Fun, informal, informative team games with great tasting wines in your office or venue
On arrival, guests are welcomed with a choice of red or white wine, teams are created and the rules explained. Each team receives an information pack containing facts and information about a specific wine. In the pack is a question about the wine and three possible answers – only one is correct.
The wine tasting begins! A limited production, great tasting wine is served, discussed and tasted, a question is posed. The team with that question in their information pack, must work together to present the three different answers, using the facts from the pack to improvise and bluff. The other teams must then decide which answer is correct and which are lies. Points are awarded and the next wine is served.
Each team has the opportunity to bluff their colleagues as more delicious wines are served and tasted. A further element to the tasting can be added as specially selected cheeses or exciting platters are served with each wine and the flavour combinations are explained and discussed.
Just to thank you very much indeed for running our wine tasting 'pull my cork' jolly earlier this week. It really started the evening off well for us. We all thoroughly enjoyed the non-highbrow way you led the proceedings and still managed to teach us all about wine. Sue and Charlotte were able to use the protein/tannin info on a senior caterer at a meeting yesterday, and he was very impressed!David B (Corporate tasting)
