Cork Collection

On arrival, guests are welcomed with a choice of red or white wine, and the format of the event is explained. Guests are invited to take their seats in teams and a team leader for each group is selected.

The wine tasting begins! A limited production, great tasting wine is served, discussed and tasted, then the teams are left to tackle some questions related to the wine as they consider the flavours. Answers are given and the winning team is each given a cork. Then everyone except the team leaders is asked to move around and join a different team where another wine is served and enjoyed with another set of related wine questions. This format is repeated with a series of five very different and exciting wines ensuring that everyone has the opportunity to socialise and network with all guests. The guest with the most corks at the end (ie the guest who was on the winning team the most often) wins a prize.

A further element to the tasting can be added as specially selected cheeses or exciting platters are served with each wine and the flavour combinations are explained and discussed.
