Casa Vinicola Botter Verdicchio dei Castelli, Classico

This is a Verdicchio from the Verdicchio region in Italy.  It’s a very traditional shaped bottle for this - quite unusual.

The wine has a lovely golden colour with really nice fresh aromas. What is really interesting about this wine is it's got a lovely aroma and taste of nut, and it’s like almond, which is fantastic. It’s quite a nutty wine, with a strong almond flavour.

Good acidity, quite dry and absolutely perfect with different breads and pastas in Italy that you can have because that nuttiness is going to give a depth to the food and to the wine. Really nice flavours, I really like this wine.
